CHECK IN POLICIES
On
Tuesday play days check in is 30 minutes prior
to your tee time.
3 and 6 hole players check in on the patio, 9 hole players check in in
the Pro Shop.
After you check in and pay your fee make sure you have: scorecard, golf
clubs, golf balls, tees, water bottle, sunscreen and go to bathroom if
needed.
Then hit range balls or chip and putt to warm up before play.
9 hole players need to report to the front of the Pro Shop or putting green area 10 minutes prior to your tee time. You will be called to the tee box from that area. We will not come looking for you. It is your responsibility to be there and be ready.
The 3 and 6 hole players can also warm up but must be back under the patio area 15 minutes prior to your tee time. Players can carry their bag or use a pull cart but motorized carts are not allowed.
Friends of players are not allowed on the course with the players. Parents of the 3 and 6 hole players may accompany the kids on the course. Parents of the 9 hole players may go on the course to watch but may not talk to or help in any way. Please stay 30 yards away from the players.
On Thursday everyone checks in on the patio at least 20 minutes prior to your scheduled practice time.
SCORING LIMITS:
We use the double par rule. After you have received a double par, you pick up your ball and move to the next hole. Mark that hole on your score card with a small x so we know you picked up. All 6 and 9 hole players will turn in a score card each Tuesday.
GHIN NUMBERS / HANDICAP INDEX:
All 9 hole players must have a GHIN number. Every round
must be posted into the GHIN computer. If you do not enter a score it is
considered cheating. Typically, you would pay a fee to the Ladies League
and they would issue the GHIN number. Unless I am told otherwise, you
will not be charged for this service. As long as this service remains
free to the junior girls, I will coordinate getting your GHIN number for
you. If
the Ladies League imposes a fee, each junior girl will be responsible
for getting and paying for the GHIN number. YOU ASK, What is a
GHIN number? It is a way to track your scores and the progress you are
making and also allows players of different skill levels to fairly
compete against each other in tournaments and informal matches. A GHIN
numer is a requirement for entry into almost all competitive events in
Colorado and across the country.
PARENTS / GUARDIANS:
It is the parent's responsibility to accompany their kids during practice and on the course if the child is too young to come and go to the bathroom by themselves. We do not provide enough adult supervision to accompany the kids across the parking lot and off the course.
There is no way to give an exact time when your child will be done playing on Tuesdays. We can only give you an approximate time. Once the child is finished playing we do not monitor them. If you are not there to pick them up when they walk off the course, they are welcome to wait for you on the patio area or inside the snack bar area. They are also welcome to use the practice areas while they wait but again we cannot monitor their safety. It is up to you to arrange with your child where you will meet them. They are welcome to use our phone if they do not have one. We are not responsible to know who picks your child up. We do not monitor this activity.
SAFETY:
All parents and guardians need to know that anytime a person in on the golf course premises there is a risk of injury from flying balls and golf clubs. We take all precautions in trying to avoid accidents, however, we cannot be everywhere.
Our most important task is teaching the kids safety. However, if a child picks up their club and swings it without looking behind them or beside them, they could hit someone. Unfortunately, we cannot monitor each child every minute. We are passing the teaching of safety to each parent to reinforce what we are teaching and making sure that your child understands the importance of safety. Being hit by a flying golf ball that has come from another player on the course is part of the risk as well.
By signing your child up for this
program, you have read, acknowledged, and accepted these risks and rules
